Esteban Sosnik is co-founder and CEO of Atakama Labs, a new venture-backed videogame developer/publisher focused on the high growth market of casual online games.

Esteban was a founder and CEO of Wanako Games, an award winning console game developer that was sold to Vivendi Games (currently Activision Blizzard) in December 2006. Esteban led the company's funding process, its strategy, business development and eventually generated and closed the sale of the company to the biggest online gaming company in the world. After selling Wanako to Vivendi, Esteban became Vice President of Business Development at Sierra Online and Blizzard Entertainment, divisions of Vivendi Games, focused on online games.

At Vivendi Esteban was part of the team that led the launch of World of Warcraft in Latin America and helped execute the business plan of Sierra Online in the free-to-play / casual online game market. Previous to founding Wanako, Esteban was CEO of Penguin Holdings, a seed-stage VC fund for Latin American start-ups, where he helped jumpstart more than ten new companies throughout the region. Before joining Penguin, Esteban served as Associate in Innova Capital Argentina, a private equity fund focused on the food and beverage industries in Argentina and, before that, he was an investment banking analyst at JP Morgan in the M&A Latin America Group based in New York. Esteban graduated with honors from the University of Virginia with a degree on Economics and Foreign Affairs. He also completed the Management Development for Entrepreneurs program at UCLA's Anderson School of Business.
