Martin was born in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina.

He graduated in Economics from the University of San Andres (Honors Thesis: “Selling Information Good on the Internet: Give before you sell”).

In 1999, he co-founded Livra that survived the Internet bubble burst to become the leading online market research agency in Latin America. In 2008, after 9 years, Livra was acquired by The Ipsos Group (IPS), one of the top market research organisation worldwide. He's currently the co-CEO of Livra.

In early 2009, Martin co-founded Atommica, a development studio specialized in internet-based videogames. He is also an angel investor in Erepublik.com.
