Currently Co-founder and COO of AtakamaLabs. A new venture on the videogame field.
Tiburcio was one of the founders of Wanako Games, the pioneer and most successful videogame studio in Latin America, founded in 2002 and sold to Vivendi games/Activision in 2006, and since 2008 part of Artificial Mind & Movement, one of the largest independent videogame studios in the world.
Tiburcio is a serial entrepreneur with 16 years of experience in the interactive and digital world. He started 1994 with one of the first ISPs in Argentina.
During these years at the ISP, Tiburcio launched a web site dedicated to the Latin America Soccer community that had tremendous response becoming one of the most visited sites in the country surpassing the local newspapers.
In 1996 he founded and led an interactive agency that started in the back of his house and become one of the largest e-builders in Latin America, with presence in 7 countries across de region and 300 employees, that enabled the digital transition of Fortune 500 companies and launched some of the most successful dot-com startups in Latin America. The lack of funding during the dot-com crash in 2000 and collateral default of dot-com clients forced the company to break apart.
In 2002 he Joined Wenceslao Casares and Esteban Sosnik to form Wanako Games.
